Morning, bloggys! :D
So I came home from a rocking 5:30 a.m. spin class this morning and had cake for bfast! In the words of Gina, "'twas glorious."
YUM. Whipped banana pumpkin oats with dried blueberry granola, fresh pineapple, pb & ab, and homemade pineapple cake (I'm talking wedding cake-good here, y'all). After the class I had definitely earned it - plus I had been planning/saving up for this since yesterday! It had been far too long since I'd had cake on my oatmeal. ;)
Today's mix included:
1/4 c. oats
1 t. flaxseed
1 t. wheat germ
1/3 c. pumpkin
1/2 frozen banana
1 T. blueberry flaxseed granola
1 t. pb
1 T. almond butter
and 1 slice of fresh pineapple.
The fresh pineapple totally made this morning's bowl (cup)! I did snap a picture of that beautiful cup of beauty, but we'll see if I can find the camera cord! St. Anthony, help me find it!
Oh, not only did I have the cake but I went ahead and put the full batch I had made in my cup to eat as my stomach was growlin' up something fierce and letting me know it was hangry! I ended up putting my spoon down 3/4 of the way through, and put the remainder in the fridge for a snack later on. Always good to walk away still feeling a little hungry- water will take care of the last bit of hunger!
